Terms of Service

1. General

These terms of service apply to the use of nyrge.com and the services provided by Oshoppo AS (Org. No. 924 825 027), hereinafter referred to as "Nyrge". By using the website or our services, you accept these terms.

2. Service Description

Nyrge is a website platform for small and medium-sized businesses. The platform offers:

  • Professional website with industry-tailored design
  • Admin panel for content and settings management
  • Optional add-on modules: e-commerce, CRM, email marketing, invoicing, booking, and chat
  • Hosting on servers in Norway (Azure Norway East)
  • SSL certificate, backups, and maintenance

3. For SaaS Customers

Businesses subscribing to the Nyrge platform are bound by our customer agreement, which governs pricing, subscription terms, cancellation, and liability. The customer agreement is available upon subscription creation and applies in addition to these terms of service.

3.1 Account Responsibility

  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential
  • You are responsible for all content published through your account
  • Sharing access with third parties is at your own risk

3.2 Acceptable Use

You must not use the Nyrge platform to:

  • Publish illegal, defamatory, or discriminatory content
  • Send unsolicited bulk communications (spam)
  • Perform actions that could harm the platform's performance or security
  • Violate copyright or other intellectual property rights
  • Resell or redistribute the service without written agreement

3.3 Pricing and Payment

Current pricing is displayed on the pricing page. All prices are listed excluding VAT unless otherwise stated. Payment is made in advance via Stripe. In case of non-payment, the service may be suspended after 14 days' notice.

3.4 Cancellation

Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time. Upon cancellation, you will have access to the service until the end of the current billing period. Data is deleted within 30 days after expiry, unless you request an export.

4. For End Users of Customer Sites

Websites hosted on the Nyrge platform are owned and managed by our customers. If you shop at, register on, or send messages to a website hosted by a Nyrge customer, the customer's own terms and privacy policies apply to your use.

Nyrge acts as a data processor for such data and processes it solely under the customer's instructions.

5. Email Sending

The Nyrge platform offers email functionality for transactional messages (order confirmations, password resets, etc.) and marketing (newsletters, campaigns). Emails are sent via Mailgun.

  • Customers are responsible for obtaining valid consent from recipients of marketing emails
  • All marketing emails must include an unsubscribe option
  • Abuse of the email functionality (spam, phishing, fraud) is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination

6. Intellectual Property

  • The Nyrge platform: All source code, design, features, and documentation belong to Oshoppo AS
  • Customer content: The customer retains all rights to their own content (text, images, products). Nyrge has a limited licence to deliver the service
  • Templates and themes: Nyrge templates and themes are licensed as part of the subscription and may not be redistributed

7. Availability and Liability

Nyrge strives for high uptime but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We are not liable for:

  • Downtime caused by scheduled maintenance (notified in advance)
  • Outages at third-party providers (Azure, Stripe, Mailgun, Fiken)
  • Data loss resulting from the customer's own actions
  • Indirect loss, lost profits, or consequential damages

Nyrge's total liability is limited to the amount the customer has paid in the preceding 12 months.

8. Privacy

Our processing of personal data is described in our privacy policy.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms of service as needed. Significant changes will be communicated with at least 30 days' notice via email to registered customers. Continued use of the service after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by Norwegian law. Any disputes that cannot be resolved amicably shall be settled by Telemark District Court.
